The Architectural Centre is an organisation whose aims are to advocate for the betterment of our built environment.  We do this through debate, exhibitions, competitions, council and government submissions, and anything else we can think of.

We are currently fundraising to support our involvement in the High Court Appeal, following the NZTA appeal against the Basin Bridge Board of Inquiry’s Decision to decline a flyover at the Basin Reserve in Wellington.  You can read more about this at: http://architecture.org.nz/basin/.  More fundraising posters are at end of this page.

“TIME IS MONEY” SERIES

We’ve had some feedback that things are busy, and while everyone means to spend time forwarding emails, and encouraging others to donate it’s easy for time to slip by.  Well if you are finding yourself in this position, wanting to give an hour or so – but tight on time – you can always look to the fashion of monetisation!! – time is money afterall.  Convert that hour into $ – into your hourly rate – and give an hour.  So this has inspired the current aspect of our fundraising campaign “Give an hour” – first poster above … naturally more to come …
